One minute I was tying her shoes before practice, and the next I was dropping her off 2,500 miles away for college volleyball — equal parts proud, wrecked, and wondering where all those years went.
Along the way, I realized this world isn’t really about matches and brackets at all — it’s about growing up together, side by side, even when they start sprinting ahead.
